Alexandra Perez (she/her) graduated in 2022 from Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Developmental Psychology and a Minor of Sociology.

Alexandra was born and raised in Washington Heights to an immigrant family who have all successfully obtained a bachelor's degree. She hopes to be the first in her family to obtain a PhD and has a passion to increase access to literacy initiatives for all children, especially those who come from minority backgrounds. This is her third semester at CUNY School of Professional Studies. She is currently a student in the Master of Psychology program. She is a member of the Book Club, Cooking Club, Esports Club, Film Club, Latinx Student Union, Painting Club, and the Psychology Club. Although she has taken both in person and online classes while in undergrad, she prefers online because of the flexibility and being able to work on assignments at your own pace. She joined the Student Association because she wants to create more events where students can connect with each other and with faculty/staff in a non-educational setting and get to know each other better. She also would like to connect with students and discuss what changes they would like to see to make their educational experience better and help to implement said changes. She is excited to work with the other student association representatives in making this a great academic year for all. She is a member of Psi Chi and Phi Beta Kappa. She also works as a college assistant at the school. She is a member of Psi Chi and Phi Beta Kappa. In the fall of 2022, Alexandra was inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success.
