How You Can Support CUNY SPS

The CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) relies on the generosity of alumni, students, friends, faculty, staff, foundations, and corporations to help further the school’s mission. There are many ways that donors can support the school.

Giving Opportunities

You may contribute to the CUNY School of Professional Studies Foundation in the following ways:

• Make a secure, one-time online donation using your credit card or debit card
• Write a check payable to the CUNY School of Professional Studies Foundation and mail it to:

• Print out an appeal form (PDF), complete it, and mail it along with your gift to the address above
• Join the Dean’s Circle, our monthly giving club, to make automatic monthly donations

Establishing a Scholarship

Establishing a scholarship fund can be a special way to honor or memorialize a loved one’s interests or accomplishments, honor a former student and/or faculty member, or encourage students in a particular academic field. CUNY SPS welcomes donations to establish and name new scholarship funds as well as donations of any size in support of already existing scholarship funds.

Friends of CUNY SPS Fund

The Friends of CUNY SPS Fund provides critical, unrestricted support, making it possible for CUNY SPS to respond to the immediate and evolving needs of the School. Making an unrestricted gift to the Friends of CUNY SPS Fund helps the School provide financial assistance to students by supporting scholarships and emergency funds.

The Dean’s Circle

The Dean’s Giving Circle is the monthly giving program at CUNY SPS. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide dependable, enduring, and reliable support to the School. The School welcomes monthly donations of any size.

Naming Opportunities

CUNY SPS offers a wide spectrum of naming opportunities. Donors may select from a menu of naming options including classrooms, conference rooms, and lounges. These are very special opportunities to leave behind a legacy at the School while contributing to the success of future students.

The Legacy Society

The Legacy Society honors those planned giving donors whose meaningful planning and foresight will lead and advance the mission of the School. CUNY SPS offers several planned giving opportunities, including charitable gift annuities or life insurance. Legacy Society members may also make planned gifts in the form of a bequest.

Foundation & Corporate Partnerships

The CUNY SPS Foundation actively seeks corporate and foundation partners interested in supporting the School. Corporate and foundation sponsored programs and gifts are vital for advancing the mission of CUNY SPS.

In Memory
