Cyber threats continue to evolve, and higher educational institutions remain a frequent target of phishing attacks, ransomware, account compromise, and data theft. Every member of the School of Professional Studies plays an important role in protecting University systems, sensitive information, and the students and colleagues we serve.
To strengthen our collective cybersecurity posture, all SPS staff are required to complete the Cybersecurity Awareness Training.
This interactive 40-minute course provides practical guidance on recognizing and responding to common cyber threats. You'll learn how to identify phishing attempts, protect sensitive information, create stronger security habits, and take simple steps that can significantly reduce risk.
Why This Training Matters
Cybersecurity is everyone's responsibility. A single suspicious email, weak password, or compromised account can have serious consequences for both the University and individuals.
By completing this training, you will learn how to:

- Identify common cybersecurity threats and warning signs
- Protect University data and systems from unauthorized access
- Secure your personal information and online accounts
