Mentoring Programs

The CUNY SPS Office of Student Life provides two unique opportunities for students interested in supporting their peers through mentoring programs: ACE-Peer Mentoring Program and Black Male Initiative. Peer-Mentor positions for both programs are offered to our returning students who have earned some credit hours here at CUNY SPS; and all first-term students are encouraged to sign up as a Mentee. All program services will be available for both Peer-Mentors and Mentees.

Students who are awarded the ACE Scholarship are automatically enrolled in the ACE-Peer Mentoring Program for each term they receive schoalrship funding.

Students in one of our health sciences programs—nursing, health information management, health services management, medical coding—are eligible to apply for one of our Peer-Mentoring positions in the Black Male Initiative.

For more information on either mentoring program please contact Student Services.
