Office of Academic Affairs

The CUNY SPS Office of Academic Affairs oversees all of the School’s degree and certificate programs, as well as the undergraduate general education program and academic resources for students including open educational resources, tutoring, and experiential learning (including credit for prior learning). A number of academic partnerships and other academic operations fall under the purview of the Office of Academic Affairs, as does the management of School’s Governing Council and its Academic Standing Committee and Curriculum Committee.

Housed within the Office of Academic Affairs, the Office of Faculty Affairs oversees procedures, policies, and resources for full-time and part-time faculty, including the School’s personnel committees; faculty workload and reassigned time; promotion, tenure, and CCE; consortial faculty and academic community leaders; fellowship leaves; and other faculty-related operations.
