Dr. Alexandra Plavskin is an accomplished nurse leader, educator, and clinician with over 19 years of experience in nursing practice and academic administration. She has a clinical background that includes cardiovascular care and Women’s health, having spent the early part of her career as a dedicated nurse providing care in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Her research focus is how nurses utilize genetics and genomics in their clinical practice. Her passion for advancing the nursing profession led her into academic leadership, where she served as the Director of Undergraduate Clinical Affairs and Assistant Dean at Hunter Bellevue School of Nursing, overseeing curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and strategic initiatives to improve nursing education and clinical integration. She is committed to lifelong learning and mentorship; she continues to shape the next generation of nurses through teaching and service.
