Sarah Kresh, faculty development and instructional design manager in the Office of Faculty Development and Instructional Technology (OFDIT), has received the Open Education Global Emerging Leader Award, which award recognizes the impact of Kresh's work since 2017 in promoting OER and Open Pedagogy at CUNY SPS and CUNY.

Dr. Jennifer McIntosh, adjunct assistant professor of nursing, has published the findings of her doctoral dissertation research titled “Illuminating Emergency Nurses’ Perceptions of Stigma, Attribution, and Caring Behaviors Towards People with Mental Illness Through the Lens of Individualized Care: A Cross-Sectional Study” in the Journal of Emergency Nursing.

Michael Katzab, a student in the CUNY SPS MA in Psychology program, has been named a Notable 2022 HR Leader by Crain's New York. The magazine highlighted his achievements in a special editorial feature that profiles top HR leaders who have demonstrated the ability or power to affect change. Katzab, who is currently the chief human resources officer at NYC Health + Hospitals, was nominated by his employer.
