CUNY SPS MA in Museum Studies student Deanna Witte-Walker will be co-presenting the session "Other Duties as Assigned: The Varied and Various Roles of a New Executive Director" at the New England Museum Association Annual Conference on November 17, 2021. Witte-Walker is the executive director of the Southold Historical Museum in New York.

Council for Adult and Experiential Learning

Two members of CUNY SPS will be featured at the 2021 Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) conference this November. Jennifer Sparrow, associate dean of academic affairs, and Holli Broadfoot, experiential learning director, will give the presentation "Jump-Starting Equity Through Competency-Based Admissions" on November 19, 2021. In addition, Sparrow will be speaking on the panel "Imagining New Directions for Prior Learning Assessment" on November 18.
