What are the admission requirements for the BS in Business program?: To apply for the online BS in Business program, applicants must possess at least 24 credits from a previous accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants not meeting the GPA requirement may qualify for admission via the Jump Start program. CUNY SPS undergraduate programs are designed for students who are returning to college, transferring from another institution, or seeking to complete a bachelor’s degree after earning prior college credit. Applicants must submit official transcripts from all colleges, universities, or proprietary schools attended after high school, whether or not they intend to request transfer credit. Students must also satisfy CUNY’s reading, writing, and mathematics basic skills requirements.

How many credits can I transfer into the BS in Business program?: Bachelor’s degree candidates at CUNY SPS may transfer up to 105 academic credits from accredited institutions, approved credit for prior learning exams, credentials, portfolio assessment, and/or ACE-evaluated military training. To earn a bachelor’s degree from CUNY SPS, students must complete at least 15 academic credits at CUNY SPS while matriculated.
