Dr. James W. Brown, a science educator and adjunct faculty member in the CUNY SPS health information management program, presented at the 2023 International Higher Education Teaching & Learning Association conference in Scotland. His talk, "Teaching Science Online Worldwide," explored how online science courses can help re-invent the science experience.

CUNY SPS students Irene Mei Zhi Shum (Advanced Certificate in Management) and Grant Bremer (BA in Liberal Studies) joined the Virtual All CUNY StorySLAM Program in Spring 2023. On May 17, they presented their stories at the Moth All CUNY Grand Slam Storytellers.

Dr. Bernadette Amicucci, CUNY SPS nursing associate professor and consortial faculty, published the article "Let’s Hang On! Ramping Up Nurse Resident Retention Strategies After the Pandemic" in the Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing. She published the piece with her colleagues from the White Plains Hospital, where she is the Director of Clinical Education.

Armando “AJ” Ramos, a student in the CUNY SPS BA in Communication and Media program, is quoted in this article about updating a pride flag in the Bronx.

CUNY SPS RN to BS nursing student Hannah Glanzman presented her research at the Hunter College Evidence-Based Practice Poster Day and Conference this April. Glanzman's abstract for her capstone project "Increasing Daytime Activity to Reduce Insomnia Associated Hypertension in the Older Adult Community," was selected for inclusion at the event, which was held at the Hunter College Brookdale Health Sciences Campus.
