Diana B. Waters, Ed.D (she/her/hers) hails from the land of the Lenape people just outside of Philadelphia. Diana has taught, facilitated, and coached for over thirty years. Currently, she holds several roles at Goddard College in central Vermont: She is on the faculty at Goddard College in the Individualized B.A. Program as well as the Education program, and has been chair of the Faculty Council, Faculty Union, and the Undergraduate Institutional Review Board. Diana is very active in abolition and decarceration efforts, including having facilitated in the Inside-Out program. She served as faculty at the Philadelphia Center, an off-campus study program affiliated with the Great Lakes Colleges Association. There, she was both Director of Student Teaching and Faculty Lead in Experiential Education Pedagogy. She has been involved with education equity for decades, has been active in public school advocacy in the Philadelphia Public School System, and has held board membership on several education funds and community organizations serving diverse populations. She has provided seminars and workshops on equity & inclusion for corporations, non-profit organizations, and in public and private school settings. Diana is the president and founder of ConFluence, a DEI consulting practice based in Philadelphia. Transformative Education and storytelling are Diana's two loves.

After attending Wellesley College in the 1970s, Diana Waters received her Associates Degree in Sociology from University of Pennsylvania in 1998. She finished her B.A. in education at Goddard College in 2000. Dr. Waters received her Ed.D. in educational leadership and change from Fielding University in 2005.
