Kari Berggren Olk ('24) is a teaching artist and freelance theater artist originally from Minnesota. She is in her first year as a full-time student in the MAAT Program. Her work at Pillsbury House + Theatre engaged people ages 1-70+ in playwriting, storytelling and acting experiences. Kari has also worked as a stage manager and director for the community engaged theater company: Wonderlust Productions (Incarceration Play Project, Lost + Found (virtual experience), Overachievers Webseries). She loves to cook and share food with loved ones, ride her bike and play outside. She hopes to continue to work with young people and all people to create new expressions of art and theater that build and sustain community.
