Jason Gilbert

Jason Gilbert is from Boston, MA and in the process of obtaining a B.A. in Psychology here at CUNY SPS. This will be his second bachelor’s degree. Jason’s first degree was a B.F.A. in Glass Sculpture from a renowned art school in San Francisco, which provided him with a unique perspective on creativity and expression. Residing in Charlottesville, VA, he embraces the flexibility of online learning, and is grateful that it provides the opportunity to live in the same city as his father while pursuing my future career. Having spent considerable time in the art world, Jason appreciates the value of transformative experiences. Last year, he encountered EMDR therapy which changed his life. The efficacy of this therapy was like none he’s encountered in the past. This experience compelled him to pursue a career path aimed at providing others with similar transformative experiences. Jason’s academic pursuit of psychology is not only a scholarly effort, but a passionate commitment to helping others who seek a brighter future.
