Goseema Persaud
At-Large Steering Officer
Goseema Persaud started her master's program in August 2021. She has almost 10 years of experience working as a nurse for children with disabilities. Goseema is an alum of CUNY City Tech where she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2013. Goseema has a great passion for working with children and especially those with developmental disabilities. She is an active student life member, participating in multiple student life clubs where she takes on a varying leadership role as treasurer and social media coordinator. Goseema is also a member of the employee spirit committee at work and find ways to celebrate and show appreciation for staff members. As a first-generation college graduate in her family, educational and professional accomplishments hold significance and value. Goseema models the value of education in hopes that the generations to follow will also pursue their academic and professional success.
