DeQuency Bowen

De Quency is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Queens, New York. She attended New York City public schools graduated from Graphics and Communication Arts High School in 1990. She served eight honorable years with the United States Army as a food service specialist. After serving in the US Army, she attended CUNY’s New York City College of Technology and graduated in 2003 with a bachelor technology degree in hospitality management. De Quency had a successful career in the hospitality industry, where she worked as a chef. She is currently working as an Executive Chef for a corporate dining room in Rockland County. 

De Quency lives in upstate New York farm country, and is happily married with three children, ages, 17, 15 and 8. She loves Bob Marley, traveling the world, and spending countless hours working on her ancestral tree. In spring 2020, she graduated from CUNY SPS with an undergraduate degree in Communication and Media.
