Emily Torres Marrero has been an active member in the Early Childhood Field for over 20 years and holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Teaching Adults in the field of Early Childhood Education.

Emily has extensive experience in supporting leaders in the Early Childhood field and holds a NYS T-TAP Credential for both Professional Development and Coaching. Emily is also an Adjunct Professor at CUNY School of Professional Studies and SUNY Farmingdale where she teaches Observing and Recording of Children's Development as part of the CDA Micro-Credential. Additionally, Emily is a Quality Improvement Specialist with QUALITYstarsNY through NY's Quality Rating and Improvement System. In this role Emily works in partnership with the leadership of participating programs to effectively use standards and data to create and implement individualized Quality Improvement Plans.

Emily enjoys and values sharing her knowledge and experience in supporting the adult learning process among early childhood professionals and build strong relationships with children and families, while supporting the evolution of high-quality learning environments.
