Interim Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness
Gilbert Stack, Interim Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness, holds a B.A. in Medieval Studies, and an M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in History, all from Fordham University. He has been working in accreditation, assessment, and strategic planning for more than twenty years starting as the Director of Assessment and Accreditation at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University in 2004. In 2019 he became Executive Director of Undergraduate Studies at Petrocelli College at Fairleigh Dickinson University and in 2021 accepted a position as Dean of Academic Administration at LIM College. He joined CUNY SPS in 2023 as Senior Advisor for Special Initiatives and became the Interim Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness in 2024.
Gilbert has taught history for more than thirty years. At Fordham University he guided in person classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. At Bergen Community College he has taught both in person and online.
