Veterans' Fee Waiver for Undergraduate Degree Applicants

Instructions to receive your Veterans' Fee Waiver

Step 1

Apply online at www.cuny.edu/apply. Visit www.cuny.edu/prepare to learn what is needed to prepare to apply. If you are applying via Jump Start please refer to the https://sps.cuny.edu/admissions/veterans/veterans-fee-waiver-graduate-degree-applicants page for instructions. 

Step 2

Indicate your military status on the US Military Status section of the application.

Step 3

Upload a copy of your DD-214 or Proof of Veteran status in the Supporting Materials section. Spouses of veterans must provide Form 1173/1173-1 as proof of military affiliation.

Step 4

Submit your transcript of military training and experience (JST) to:
