The CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) is pleased to announce that Nadine Martin, a marketing executive, has been appointed to serve on the CUNY SPS Foundation Board of Directors.

“The members of the CUNY SPS Foundation Board and I are thrilled to welcome Nadine Martin and to employ her great talents and experience to further the CUNY SPS mission,” says Blake Foote, chair of the Foundation Board. “Her deep background in healthcare and marketing/communications will be particularly important as we emerge from the COVID-19 crisis and assess new programming and supports for students.”

In her new role, Martin will bring over twenty years of marketing, strategy, and advertising experience in healthcare and consumer brands. The CUNY SPS Foundation Board, founded in 2011, is a not-for-profit entity that continuously explores new fundraising opportunities to promote and support the School’s educational and charitable goals and its students.

Currently, Martin serves as the associate director of oncology global marketing at Merck, a pharmaceutical company. Prior to her current position, Nadine worked for biopharmaceutical company Celgene. As a global marketing team member, she worked on pre-launch and launch commercial programs in their hematology group. Before working on the pharmaceutical industry side, Nadine held various account team roles in advertising, leading multiple U.S. and global launches for Eli Lilly, Bayer, Roche, and GSK.

Martin holds a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business in Charlottesville, Virginia. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, she now lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.
