CUNY SPS Assists with Disaster Relief Efforts

Students providing relief to Long Island community after Hurricane Sandy

The CUNY School of Professional Studies serves as the University’s renowned online institution, proudly enrolling students from around the world. Dozens of our students and their families live in areas that have been affected by recent natural disasters. During this time of need, we encourage our community to be mindful of one another and to help those whose lives may have been upended by these events however we can.

The University supports a number of relief initiatives for the victims of these recent natural disasters, including designated campus donation centers which will provide much-needed supplies to the people of Puerto Rico. Should you have the means to contribute, CUNY SPS will accept donations in the lobby of our main campus building at 119 West 31st Street, collecting the following items: batteries, flashlights, portable lanterns, diapers, baby wipes, cases of water and feminine hygiene products. Donations can be made until Tuesday, October 31.

If you want to support the hurricane relief, but cannot make it to our campus, order the supplies on Amazon or another online retailer, and ship them to the following address:
