Chief Marketing Officer and Assistant Dean
Prerna Dar is Chief Marketing Officer and Assistant Dean at the CUNY School of Professional Studies, where she leads marketing, communications, and events to strengthen the school’s position as a leader in online education. A seasoned strategist with experience across higher education -- including The New School, Fairleigh Dickinson University, and Stevens Institute of Technology -- as well as the corporate sector, she specializes in brand strategy, enrollment growth, and translating data into compelling narratives that drive results. Prerna began her career in advertising, a foundation that continues to shape her strategic and creative approach to marketing. She holds a master’s degree in media and communications from New York University and is known for integrating creativity with analytics to deliver measurable impact.
Outside of work, she enjoys travel, theater, and the arts, and values time spent with her family.
