Clinical Psychology Externship

Application Details:

• Open to students pursuing their PhD, PsyD or EdD in clinical or counseling psychology
• Late-August 2026 – May 2027, with possibility to continue in June/July
• Applications accepted through the Extern Match Portal from December 1, 2025 – January 23, 2026, in accordance with the Northeastern Regional National Match (Extern Match) Guidelines

Training snapshot:

• Hybrid in-person/remote schedule if desired
• 16 hours weekly
• Thursday afternoons required in-person
• 2 hours of individual supervision per week
• 1 hour of group supervision/team meeting per week
• 1 hour of didactics/case conference per week
• Very occasional evening hours may be required for psychoeducational outreach activities
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to initial consultation, crisis intervention, short-term psychotherapy, outreach and psychoeducational events, and therapeutic case management
