WHAT WERE SOME OF THE MOST DEFINING ASPECTS OF YOUR TIME AT CUNY SPS?

My time at CUNY SPS was defined by the flexibility of online learning and the support of a diverse and inclusive community. The opportunity to pursue my education while advancing in my career was invaluable. Additionally, as an out-of-the-box leader advocating against rigid and closed mindsets, the flexibility offered by online learning enabled me to tailor my educational journey to suit my individual needs and aspirations, ultimately contributing to my personal and professional growth in profound ways. WHAT IS THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE, OR MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU LEARNED AT CUNY SPS?

The best piece of advice I received at CUNY SPS was the importance of adaptability and lifelong learning in today's rapidly changing professional landscape. It's crucial to stay updated and open to new opportunities. Moreover, interacting with faculty members with diverse professional experiences has been immensely beneficial. Some of them instilled an entrepreneurial mindset in me, encouraging me to explore work opportunities abroad and inspiring me to write and publish HR-related books. Their guidance and encouragement have played a pivotal role in shaping my career trajectory and fostering my passion for continuous growth and exploration.

WHO INFLUENCED YOU THE MOST DURING YOUR TIME AT CUNY SPS?

The faculty and fellow classmates at CUNY SPS played a significant role in shaping my perspective and fostering a supportive learning environment. Their diverse experiences and insights were extremely useful. Additionally, I must acknowledge the invaluable support and guidance of my mother. She has been a constant source of encouragement, accepting my introverted nature and teaching me the importance of going the extra mile, striving for excellence in all endeavors, and conducting myself with strong ethical values and respect. Her influence has been instrumental in shaping my approach to learning and professional development.

HOW HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE AT CUNY SPS INFLUENCED YOUR CURRENT JOB, AND YOUR CAREER OVERALL?

CUNY SPS provided me with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in my career, especially in the field of online learning. It instilled in me a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth. Additionally, leveraging the expertise gained through online learning, I have developed e-learning courses in the field of Human Resources. These courses offer certification and include quizzes designed to help HR leaders test their knowledge and improve their proficiency in various HR-related topics. Through these online resources, I aim to empower other professionals in the HR field to enhance their skills and stay updated with industry best practices. Free Courses & Quizzes by Sara Yahia

WHAT IS THE MOST ASPIRING ASPECT OF YOUR JOB?

As an HR Expert, my passion for empowering individuals and addressing societal issues has led me to work across various industries. With over a decade of HR experience, I've noticed a lack of emotional intelligence, knowledge, and skills among many HR professionals. This realization inspired me to develop online courses and quizzes aimed at helping individuals enhance their capabilities in the HR field. HR Insights by Sara Yahia

As an Author, my books, rooted in personal experiences and a love for HR, focus on introversion, abuse, and diversity. "Quietly Sparks" explores introverts in an extroverted world. "Unheard Voices" addresses stereotypes about male-victim abuse. "Quiet Diversity" discusses fostering inclusivity for introverts, who represent half of the US population. Books By Sara Yahia

Overall, my goal is to drive positive change through education and advocacy.
