The Committee on Institutional Equity and Diversity (CIED) and the Office of Human Resources would like you to participate in the first Micro-aggression and Bullying Awareness Training. Prior to attending this webinar, we encourage you to enroll and complete the following courses on the CUNY SPS LinkedIn Learning Page:

  1. Dealing with Micro-aggression as an Employee
  2. Preventing Harassment in the Workplace
  3. Handling Workplace Bullying
  4. Teaching Civility in the Workplace

This training will be led by Ritu Pancholy, founder and CEO of Culturupt. Ritu Pancholy founded Culturupt following a successful career as an attorney focused on employment law for public companies, non-profit organizations, and government bodies. Prior to founding Culturupt, she served as employment counsel to Dun & Bradstreet responsible for employment litigation, compliance, and human resources advising for the firm’s 5,000 employees. She also supervised global employment and compliance investigations. As an adjunct Professor of Law at Seton Hall University, she has taught the course Conducting Internal Investigations. A graduate of Duke Law School and Rutgers University, New Brunswick, Ritu previously served as an attorney for the New York City Department of Education, where she defended the agency from Equal Employment Opportunity Commission lawsuits and state and federal agencies. She is a former associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP.

This virtual event is on a first come, first served basis for full-time faculty and staff members only. You may register using the links sent out by the CIED via email. CIED and HR hope to provide similar training opportunities in the future for part-time faculty and staff.
