In this interactive session, participants will learn about Anti-Black racism and receive guidance on how to safely intervene in the face of hate-based harassment or violence.

Beginning with a discussion on anti-Black racism, that is so ingrained into the fabric of our society and is prevalent in our daily tasks, activities, and in societal institutions, the workshop will show the deep impact of disrespect, harassment, and constant threat of violence on Black communities.

The workshop will highlight scenarios and provide tools and resources on how to practice the 5Ds of bystander intervention.
