CareerLink is a career management software system that makes it easier to take advantage of the support offered by Career Services. Find out how to best utilize CUNY SPS CareerLink and move one step closer to reaching your professional goals. Get a first-hand demonstration of ways to use CareerLink including making appointments with a career advisor, viewing and applying directly to jobs and internships posted by employers, accessing career resources through the document library, and registering for career events. REFRESH YOUR RESUME

Discover how to write a results-oriented resume and cover letter that reflects your relevant experience, abilities, and accomplishments. Receive valuable resume advice and transform your resume into a powerful tool that will get you more interviews. This program will be presented twice during the semester, allowing participants to choose between a lunchtime or evening option. We strongly encourage you to attend a resume webinar before requesting a resume review with our office. The evening webinar will be presented by Kelsey Richardson, Career Advisor and the lunchtime webinar will be presented by Shannon Gallo, Manager of Career Services.

INTERVIEWING INSIGHTS

Build knowledge about how to master the interviewing process. Find out ways to prepare for job interviews effectively, develop appropriate responses to challenging questions, and discover how to leave a great first impression. Get ideas about how to handle virtual, telephone, and panel interviews. Gain the confidence you need to ace your next interview! This program will be presented twice during the semester, allowing participants to choose between a lunchtime or evening option. ONLINE CAREER MEET-UPS

Explore opportunities in your career field, connect and engage with industry professionals, and build your network. Meet hiring managers and recruiters, learn first-hand about their organizations and job and internship openings and get pointers on how to position yourself for success. Each online career meet-up session will focus on a specific industry but will be open to current students and alumni from all majors and programs. Sessions will be hosted by the career services team, featuring employers, alumni, and others from around the CUNY SPS community.

In this resume review and prep session, you will have the chance to meet with our team to learn how to adjust your resume to reflect your relevant experience, abilities, and accomplishments. VIRTUAL MOCK INTERVIEW SESSIONS

As a follow-up to the interviewing webinars from the fall semester, join us for virtual mock interview sessions. Offered in the afternoon and evening, these mock interviews provide an opportunity for CUNY SPS students and alumni to practice their interviewing skills with select CUNY SPS Foundation Board members and other professionals. Gain worthwhile hands-on experience to enhance your interviewing abilities. This event will be coordinated by Career Services, and limited to CUNY SPS students and alumni only.
