Reflections on The East

Dr. Segun Shabaka, Former Uhuru Sasa teacher/East member and Kweli Weusi, former Uhuru Sasa Student/East member and daughter of East founder, Jitu Weusi, will discuss the founding, history, and impact of Brooklyn’s premier Black independent school, Uhuru Sasa Shule (Freedom Now School).
