Many of us experience moments of self-doubt while pursuing our degrees, but first-generation students may be particularly susceptible to such feelings. In this event, we will discuss how to identify and navigate “Imposter Syndrome,” as well as other psychological obstacles students may encounter during their educational journeys. Students are welcome to submit questions anonymously before the event or during the discussion.

This event is organized by Dr. Carla Marquez-Lewis, Academic Director of Psychology, and Dr. Elizabeth Alsop, Academic Director of Communication and Media, as part of the CUNY SPS First-Generation Student Success Series. All students are encouraged to attend!
