The new issue explores several pedagogical experiments made by disability studies practitioners at their schools.

Brooks is the third recipient of the award, which was first introduced in 2019 to recognize faculty excellence at CUNY SPS.

Organized by the disability studies programs, the two-part series commemorated the 50th anniversary of the 1972 exposé of Willowbrook State School.

The School's faculty, staff, and students will host talks in April focused on accessibility, disability justice, and pedagogy.

Faculty, students, and other members of the CUNY SPS disability studies community are encouraged to submit to Issue #3 of the Journal of Teaching Disability Studies.
