CUNY SPS's 8th Annual Student Leadership Conference united adult learners around the theme "Change Agents: From Classroom to Community," featuring several graduate students who led workshops on using theory to achieve social justice.

The Inaugural Full-Time Faculty Research & Projects Celebration, which featured nine dynamic faculty presentations, showcased the ways that the School's faculty inquiry advances knowledge, informs innovative pedagogy, and strengthens CUNY SPS’ mission.

In additional top-ten rankings, CUNY SPS is also named #4 in the nation on the publisher's list of Best Online Bachelor's for Veterans, and its BA in Psychology is ranked #7 in the nation on their Best Online Bachelor's in Psychology list.

Both Dr. Plavskin, the head of the School's Nursing programs, and Dr. Nathan, who leads the General Education and Liberal Studies program, bring a wide range of expertise to their new leadership roles at CUNY SPS.

CUNY SPS celebrated over 200 Nursing graduates at its 2025 Convocation and Pinning Ceremony. The event, which included a traditional pinning ceremony, paid tribute to academic excellence, leadership, and holistic caregiving.
