Join the CUNY SPS Committee on Institutional Equity and Diversity (CIED), Communications and Media, Human Relations, and Sociology departments and the SPS Film Club on Tuesday, March 16th at 8pm EST for a virtual film screening of Knock Down the House (2019).

The documentary chronicles the journey of four inspiring women, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Amy Vilela, Cori Bush, and Paula Jean Swearengin, who run for public office in an effort to bring about change in their communities and lead a movement challenging the political status quo in our country.

The film will be accompanied by a live discussion led by Melanie Lorek, Assistant Professor, Human Relations and Sociology and Habeebah Yasin, Administrative Coordinator, Office of Strategy and Innovation & Enrollment Management and Student Services via slack.
