Part of the Class of 2020 MA in Applied Theatre Thesis Presentations.
Presenters: Amelia Hefferon, Sarah Meister, Stephen Morrash, and Joseph Webb
Our team facilitated six sessions in an acting for non-majors class at a public community college. We used applied theatre to explore the relationship between individual and community identity and museums, including two museums housed on the college campus. In the process, participants interrogated the wider role of museums in society and created original theatre that responded to the campus museums.
