A panel discussion on challenges and opportunities for workplace equity and inclusion.

As our societies continue to weather the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, many leaders are increasingly concerned with issues of wellness and equity. At the same time, disability and the perspectives of disabled people remain on the margins of those conversations. Disabled people face persistent barriers to the attainment and retention of meaningful work and the opportunity to lead dignified lives.

Bringing together thought leaders in the interdisciplinary field of disability studies, this panel poses the broad question: How can disabled people and the field of disability studies inform and enrich the wider conversation about workplace equity and work-related quality of life?

This conversation aims to not only shed light on the challenges faced by disabled individuals in accessing and retaining meaningful employment opportunities but also to explore the transformative potential of disabled people and the field of disability studies to inform the wider conversation about workplace wellness and equity.

We invite you to join us in discussing how we might create a future where everyone can participate in an inclusive and equitable workplace and lead a meaningful and dignified life.
