This session is part of a 4-part series of programs offered through funding from the CUNY Career Success Fellowship in collaboration with the Office of Career Services. Participants can expect to share knowledge and come away with synthesized and integrated understandings of workplace challenges and practical ways to grow themselves and their careers.

Building strong networking skills (virtual and in person) is essential for career growth. This workshop will cover strategies to help you make meaningful professional connections, engage in effective conversations, and confidently navigate networking events.

Additionally, we will focus on public speaking skills for the workplace, helping you communicate your ideas clearly, present yourself professionally, and gain confidence in speaking during meetings, interviews, and presentations. 

Whether you're looking to expand your network or improve your speaking skills, this session will provide practical techniques to help you succeed in professional settings.

Presenter:
Dahlia Ramsay is a 2019 CUNY SPS graduate of the Applied Theater program and professional facilitator, teaching artist and theater maker. She focuses her applied theater practice on professional development for students and adults and brings a welcoming but purpose-driven attitude to her workshops.
