Handle With SPS CARE

To reiterate the School's core value and culture of care, the CUNY SPS Concern Assessment Response Evaluation (CARE) Team has been launched! The CARE Team is a collaborative group with the mission of: 

• Instituting a systematic and collaborative response to support students of concern, promoting academic success, and facilitating an environment to reduce the likelihood of crisis, conflict, threat, and self-harm;
• Supporting student success with a caring and proactive approach by recognizing when the need for a coordinated effort arises; and
• Enhancing the emotional and physical safety of students, faculty, staff, and others to support the teaching and learning environment.

 Come join team members on April 20, 2023 as they take you through the referral, the process, and the work of the interdisciplinary team to to coordinate care and assistance for our students who experience complex and/or unforeseen circumstances.
