CUNY SPS Change Warriors
Volunteering is a richly rewarding experience. The CUNY SPS Change Warriors aims to provide students with an opportunity to participate in the development and growth of humanity through direct and indirect service. As a volunteer, you will create positive change through small and meaningful acts of service. Your commitment and engagement in this program will be rewarded through recognition at the annual Student Leadership and Recognition Ceremony.

Celebrating Service
Your time, dedication, and service are invaluable and contribute so much to yourself, and society. With this, we celebrate and honor those who have reached specific milestones in their mission to give back. The programs and awards are ways we recognize your commitment to being Change Warriors.
- Change Warrior – awarded to those who complete 25-35 hours within a semester
- Lex Change Warrior – awarded to students who complete 36-45 hours
- Student Life Change Warrior – awarded to students to who complete 46+ hours
Eligibility:
- All graduate, undergraduate, and certificate students are eligible to participate in this program
- Maintain a minimum of 2.5 GPA for undergraduates and certificate and 3.0 for graduates
- Enjoy sharing your time and helping others
- Commit to Serve, Engage and Learn
Successful completion of the program requires you to:
- Apply at the beginning of each semester
- Attend orientation
- Attend program meet-ups
- Submit all hours by the last day of classes
- Submit a reflection on your experience
- Complete pre- and post-assessment
