Implementing ERP Business Software, Sponsored by Infor

CUNY is partnering with NYC-based business software company, Infor, to give students a tuition-free experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) business software and to explore careers in enterprise technology.

Using the Infor CloudsuiteTM Industrial application, students will learn how ERP software helps hundreds of thousands of organizations worldwide manage their operations. Students will:

  • learn about common business processes and enterprise architecture;
  • gain hands-on experience using ERP software;
  • explore careers in enterprise technology; and
  • practice sought-after technology consulting skills to help organizations use technology to achieve results.

Enrolled students will also have opportunities to network with business technology practitioners and to sharpen their professional skills through career development workshops.

Implementing ERP Business Software, sponsored by Infor, Parts 1 and 2, is a two-part non-credit series that is open to students across CUNY and is tuition-free.

Schedule

Classes for Part 1 meet twice a week for 8 weeks beginning September 11, 2017 in downtown Brooklyn at the City Tech Infor Center of Excellence or other CUNY locations in Manhattan.

Cost

This course is tuition-free.

Admissions Criteria

Application for enrollment in the Part 1 course is open to currently enrolled sophomores, juniors, and graduate students across CUNY with at least 36 credits, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and an expected graduation date of December 2018 or later.  Applicants should have strong writing, speaking, teamwork, and analytical skills, as well as an interest in learning to implement business software in multiple industries.

At the time of application, students are required to write a personal statement and upload a resume. Students who meet the basic eligibility criteria may be asked to take part in an individual interview before final acceptance is determined.

Students who have already completed Part 1 will be contacted for enrollment in Part 2.
