Chris Vine, Academic Director of the MA in Applied Theatre, created the Program with long-time collaborator Helen White, based on over 35 years professional experience.

Chris is a founding member of Perspectives Theatre Company (UK) and former Artistic Director of Greenwich Young People's Theatre (London) and the Creative Arts Team (New York). His work has extended worldwide: the Program currently runs Project Rwanda. His specialties include theatre-in-education (TIE), process drama and Theatre of the Oppressed. His most recent publication is as co-editor of Learning Through Theatre: The Changing Face of Theatre in Education (Routledge 2013).
