Bevin was born and raised in Kuwait City, Kuwait where he resided for the first decade of his life. During this time, he lived through and witnessed the beginning of the Persian Gulf War and along with this family, he escaped as a refugee back to this home country of India where he resided until the fighting subsided. His family later immigrated to the United States in hopes to provide a better future for him and his siblings with hopes of achieving the American Dream. He currently resides in Amityville, NY and is enrolled in the BS in Health Service Administration program at CUNY SPS.  Coming from a family of frontline healthcare professionals, this career path was not a difficult choice to pursue. Bevin wants to use his learned experience from his career and the education he receives to prepare him for the next leg of his journey, which includes moving further into senior leadership roles in healthcare organization to create change from the top down.  Bevin is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Quality, American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety, and Project Management Institute. He is currently fluent in English and Malayalam and is proficient in Hindi and Arabic.
