Subject: Labor Studies
The field of Labor Studies examines the history, politics, and contemporary status of the field of organized labor, using the lens of various academic fields (including history, political science, and sociology) to examine unions and workers. SPS courses and programs in Labor Studies, developed through the Joseph S. Murphy Institute for Worker Education and Labor Studies, enroll both current undergraduate and graduate students and individuals who currently work in organized labor and in other, related fields.
