Subject: Disability Studies
Disability Studies is an emerging multidisciplinary field that spans the social sciences, humanities, and sciences. This new paradigm recognizes that disability is not inherent in the individual as a personal problem or deficit, but rather, is a set of physical and social barriers that constrains people. SPS offers courses in Disability Studies for current professionals and future practitioners in the disability field, people with disabilities, and disability advocates, scholars, and researchers.
