Payment by Credit Card
Students must use the eSIMS student information system to make payment by credit card. Follow the instructions below to make payment by credit card.
- Log onto e-SIMS through the CUNY Portal (for Portal Help go to http://portal.cuny.edu/portal/site/cuny/index.jsp?epi-content=PORTALHELP ).
- Select the Semester Bill link from the navigation panel on the left.*
- Select the Pay Now button to settle your tuition bill.
- Select the payment option for which you wish to settle your tuition balance.
- Verify your First and Last name and select Continue to make your payment.
- Choose the Method of Payment , (Visa Cards are no longer accepted ) complete the payment form and select Continue .
*If you have trouble connecting to the Semester Bill screen, you may need to change the pop-up setting on your internet browser to " enable ". Change the pop-up setting and shut down your browser before attempting to make a tuition payment.
Tuition Payment Plan
Academic Management Services (AMS) provides a TuitionPay Plan as an alternative to paying for school in one lump sum. The TuitionPay Plan is an interest-free installment option from Sallie Mae. It works well for students who can't afford the entire tuition bill at one time, or those who want to hold on to the interest-earning savings a little longer. For more information visit www.tuitionpay.com/cuny.
If you have previously used TuitionPay , and are in good standing, please log into your TuitionPay account to create a new payment plan for the current term.

Bursar Receipt
Students can print an unofficial copy of their bill online through the Semester Bill main page on e-SIMS (directions below). The Semester Bill main page allows students to see their tuition and fees, awards, and balance. Students may also obtain an official copy of their bill by faxing, emailing or mailing a completed Bursar Bill Request form to:

Please note: A current term's official bursar bill can only be made available to students after the official drop/add period. Please contact the bursar's office if there is a block on your account at bursar@sps.cuny.edu or 212.652.2060.
Accessing bill through e-SIMS :
- Log onto e-SIMS through the CUNY Portal
- Select the Semester Bill link from the navigation panel on the left.*
- Select Semester Term then select the Semester Bill tab. You will be able to select the specific term's bill from here.
- Select Print Bill at the bottom of the page.
