SPS certificate programs and courses are open to individuals who hold a high school diploma (for undergraduate certificates and non-credit courses) or bachelor's degree (for graduate certificates and courses). Some SPS courses and certificates have specific requirements and pre-requisites. Course descriptions indicate if admission to the course is by special arrangement only. Application
To submit an application to the programs listed below click here. This will take you to the CUNY School of Professional Studies' online application website. This site includes instructions for creating a user account and completing the application. In addition, detailed instructions can be found in Apply Yourself Applicant Guide. The application fee is $70. Payment is made via the online application system using your credit or debit card.

International Students
Before applying an international applicant who wishes to study under an F-1 visa should contact the international student advisor Tom Jennings, Executive Director of Enrollment Services and Senior Registrar, who serves as the international student advisor, at 212.652.2894 or thomas.jennings@mail.cuny.edu.
Applicants who will apply for nonimmigrant F-1 or J-1 visas for entry into the United States and applicants already in the United States in F-1 or J-1 student status must complete the International Student Application located at
http://sps.cuny.edu/forms/International_Student_Application_Supplement.pdf.
International applicants must have a TOEFL minimum score of 577 on the paper based test, minimum score of 233 on the computer based test (CBT), or a minimum of 90 on the internet based test (IBT). Applicants who have completed their previous education in another country must submit official transcripts of their studies, accompanied by certified translations if they are not in English.
Auditing Courses
Students who do not wish to take a course for credit may audit the course by selecting the audit option. Fees remain the same as credit courses, however, students who audit will not be evaluated or receive a transcript.
