The School of Professional Studies designs custom education and training programs to help employers and other organizations address a wide variety of learning needs. We partner with businesses, government agencies, nonprofits, and organized labor to craft unique educational experiences that draw on the CUNY's tremendous academic resources.
Organizations come to SPS because our programs are:

SPS works closely with partner organizations during course development. We can tailor your program for a wide variety of industries, subject matter, and employee experiences. We develop individual non-credit training programs, credit and non-credit courses, credit certificates, and degree programs.

Programs integrate organizational requirements, state-of-the-art industry practices, and academic rigor. Working with SPS enables you to access the expertise of CUNY's 6,000 full-time faculty, top-ranked degree programs, and nationally recognized research centers and institutes. SPS is responsive to the needs of our partner organizations by developing programs to work in a variety of time frames. Programs can be offered:
